M. Asem Bakkar, MD, attended the University of St. Eustatius School of Medicine, where he received his medical degree and finished the Hyperbaric Medicine and the Under Sea Hyperbaric Program. Then, he served his internship at the Northern Colorado Medical Center in Greeley and the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. Furthermore, he conducted his residency in general surgery at the Maricopa Integrated Health Systems in Phoenix, Arizona. In addition, Dr. Bakkar received board certification in general surgery from the American Board of Surgery. In addition to his medical degree, he completed his premed requirements at Arapahoe Community College and Shoreline Community College.
